 Is Work too much Work?

We will work with your organization to invigorate and improve overall organizational health and productivity.

In consultations with employees, they frequently share that they experience high levels of stress, either as a direct result of work(load), or, that stems from personal life issues--which in turn, is played out in the workplace.

Stress is defined as the psychological and physical state that results when the resources of the individual are not sufficient to cope with the demands and pressures of the situation. Situations that are likely to cause stress are those that are unpredictable or uncontrollable, uncertain, ambiguous or unfamiliar, or involving conflict, loss or performance expectations (Michie, 2002).

The result of the disconnect between employers and employees is an organizational culture defined by disengagement, lack of motivation, employee displacement (or isolation), and ultimately, poor performance.

This is the bad news.

The good news is that we're bringing healthy back! It is time to create real, measurable, and lasting change in the workplace. Together, we can facilitate and promote a healthy workplace culture that is a positive and productive energy-enhancing experience.

Our model is based off Lloyd and Foster's (2006) research that incorporates strategies from health psychology and sports psychology, and applies them to organizational settings.
