COACH Consulting Services (COACH), formerly COACH Stacey, is a Seattle-based boutique consulting & coaching firm in the business of holistic health, wellness, & fitness.
In her own words, Coach Stacey describes the genesis of the company:
A major factor that contributed to my decision to start a business in the first place was that I did not feel a strong connection to the work I did or the people that I worked for. It left me with the feeling that I was working only for a paycheck, and I felt like a fraud, putting on an act that I was invested in the mission and the organization. This proved especially true when I was laid off from a business venture that I was “passionate” about. Despite being laid off a day before leaving to another country to get married, I was not devastated—I could barely fake caring.
Around the same time, I read a book about vocation, Let your Life Speak, by Parker Palmer. In that book ,it became clear to me, “It is true that I did not work hard enough to keep that job, and so I lost it.” I was immediately able to identify with the message of being authentic in vocation and true to the calling of whatever one believes they can be the best in the world at. I accepted being laid off as the universe’s way of kicking me out because I had not been brave enough to walk out on my own—and so was borne, COACH Consulting Services, Inc.
What was once COACH Stacey, is now a small team of health, wellness, & fitness professionals: fitness coaches, corporate health consultants, counselors, and nutrition coaches.
Our edge in the market is providing coaching & consulting services to people, teams & groups, organizations, and community. We take a holistic approach towards health, wellness, & fitness. As a boutique service, we personalize and customize health & wellness services based on our clients' needs.
